2. Data collected
Data you provide: surname, first name, email address, company name, professional contact details and the content of your messages, entered when making a contact request, registering or using the software.
Automatically collected data: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, date and duration of the visit, technical log data.
Search data: the addresses and criteria you enter in the tool, retained so that you can find your analyses again.
We do not collect any special categories of data within the meaning of Article 9 GDPR.

4. Recipients of the data
PickItSmartly does not sell or rent your personal data.
Your data may be disclosed to technical processors acting on our behalf and on our instructions (hosting, database, transactional email delivery, audience measurement tools), bound by contract in accordance with Article 28 GDPR.
It may also be transmitted to the competent authorities where required by law, or to protect our rights, those of our users or of the public.
5. Transfers outside the European Union
Some of our technical providers may be established outside the European Union. In that case, transfers are governed by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or by an adequacy decision.
6. Retention periods
- Contact requests: 3 years from the last exchange
- User account data: duration of the contractual relationship, then 5 years for evidentiary purposes
- Billing data: 7 years (Belgian accounting obligation)
- Log data: 12 months maximum
- Cookies: see section 8
7. Security
PickItSmartly implements appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction: encryption of communications, access control, logging and backups.
In the event of a personal data breach presenting a risk to your rights and freedoms, you will be informed in accordance with Article 34 GDPR.
8. Cookies
The website uses cookies that are strictly necessary for its operation; these are set without prior consent.
Audience measurement cookies and, where applicable, personalisation cookies are only set after your consent, obtained via the banner displayed on your first visit. You may withdraw that consent at any time; refusing is as simple as accepting.
You may also configure your browser to block or delete cookies.
9. Your rights
In accordance with the GDPR, you have the following rights:
- Access: obtain a copy of the data concerning you
- Rectification: have inaccurate data corrected
- Erasure: request the deletion of your data
- Restriction: request the temporary freezing of a processing operation
- Objection: object to processing based on legitimate interest, or to direct marketing
- Portability: receive your data in a structured format
- Withdrawal of consent at any time, without retroactive effect
To exercise these rights, write to info@pickitsmartly.be. You will receive a reply within one month. Proof of identity may be requested in the event of reasonable doubt.
10. Complaints
If you consider that the processing of your data does not comply with the regulations, you may lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority:

11. Automated decision-making
The analyses produced by PickItSmartly concern properties, not individuals. No decision producing legal effects concerning you is taken solely on the basis of automated processing.

This policy may be amended to reflect legal or technical developments. The date of the last update appears at the top of the page; any substantial change will be notified to you.
